What student24 is

An independent study platform for the South African K53 learner's licence. We are not the Department of Transport, we are not a testing centre, and we cannot book or issue a licence. Passing our practice papers does not guarantee passing the official test.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The content

The lessons, narration scripts, quizzes and videos are ours. You may use them to study, and you may download the narration script of any lesson for your own use. You may not download, copy, re-upload, resell or use the material to build a competing course. Videos are streamed and are not offered as downloads; attempting to capture the streams, scrape the questions or automate access will end your account.

Road signs and markings shown in the lessons are the official South African designs published in the K53 material; the standards themselves belong to the state, our lessons and artwork around them do not.

Fair use of the service

Requests are rate limited. Do not run scripts against the platform, share one account between people, or try to reach the API directly. We may suspend an account that does.

The community

Ask questions, answer them, and be decent about it. No abuse, no spam, no advertising, no sharing exam answers taken from the real test. We remove posts and accounts that break this.

Driving lessons

Instructors listed on student24 are independent businesses. We introduce you, we do not employ them, we do not supervise the lesson and we are not party to your agreement with them. Check their credentials. Payment happens between you and them.

Availability

We try to keep the platform up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or remove features.

Liability

The course is study material offered as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a failed test, a driving incident, or any loss arising from using the platform. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act.

Ending it

You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@student24.co.za. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
